Motorcycle driver killed in crash on Dan Ryan near 35th

A motorcyclist was killed in a crash on the Dan Ryan Expressway on Monday morning, authorities said.
The crash occurred in the northbound express lanes of the Ryan (I-90/94) near 35th Street about 6:15 a.m., according to Illinois State Police. All inbound express lanes were closed for more than two hours.The Cook County Medical Examiner's office confirmed the death, but did not release further information pending notification of family.The crash snarled traffic, which was diverted into the local lanes at West 48th Street until about 8:30 a.m., state police said.
