Columbus,OH : Driver found shot, critically hurt in crashed car on November, Monday 13th 2017

A male driver was found shot and critically hurt inside a crashed vehicle in Mt. Auburn early Monday, Cincinnati police said.

Officers responded to East McMillan Street near Auburn Avenue about 2:30 a.m.

They were called to a report of a vehicle crashing into a utility pole and then an apartment building.

Witnesses said they also heard gunshots before the collision.

The shooting victim was taken to University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

He is suffering from life-threatening injuries, police said.

A search remains underway for the shooter or shooters.

A description was not immediately available.
