HINDS COUNTY, MS : Police chase ends in crash on I-220 in Hinds County on Monday, 14th October 2024

A suspect is in custody after a police chase in Hinds County Monday.

A press release says at 1:55 p.m., a Mississippi Highway Patrol State Trooper made a traffic stop on a Nissan Altima for speeding on U.S. 49 northbound near Ratliff Road.

While the trooper was interviewing the driver, 43-year-old Nicole Ingram of Bentonia, he noticed a wanted person in the passenger of the vehicle.

According to the press release, the trooper asked the passenger to step out of the vehicle.
