WATERLOO, IA : One killed, another hurt in motorcycle crash on I-380 in Waterloo on Monday, 3rd June 2024

One person is dead, and another is hurt after a motorcycle crash on Interstate 380 in Waterloo.

It happened just before 10:15 p.m. around mile marker 72, close to where 380 turns into Highway 218. The crash was in the northbound lanes between Mitchell Avenue and San Marnan Drive.

According to the Iowa State Patrol, as the motorcycle was heading north, it left the roadway and hit the barrier wall in the median. The motorcycle then slid across the interstate and onto the outside shoulder.

One person died, and another was injured, but State Troopers did not specify the condition of the injured person.
