Worcester,MA : Twenty-four-year-old Sara Ewing killed and another man injured after struck by the tractor-trailer on Sunday ,May 17th 2015

Worcester Police have announced that the tractor-trailer driver who struck and killed a woman last week has been issued citations.

Police said the 62-year-old driver from North Carolina was cited for vehicular homicide, negligent operation so as to endanger and failure to use care in turning.

Twenty-four-year-old Sara Ewing was killed after being struck by the tractor-trailer. A second victim, a 25-year-old man, remains hospitalized with serious injuries. Investigators said Ewing was trapped between the tractor-trailer's two back wheels.

Police said the investigation is ongoing.
