Phoenix, AZ : Driver died after two trucks crash near Pinnacle Peak Road on Friday morning, February 27, 2015

A serious accident has resulted in the death of one person in north Phoenix.

The crash happened around 7:15 a.m. at 19th Avenue and Pinnacle Peak Road.

Video from Air15 showed what appeared to be a Stern produce truck on its side up against a traffic light pole.

It appeared two construction trucks were pulled off to the side of the road along 19th Avenue.

Phoenix police Sgt. Jonathan Howard said a northbound truck and eastbound truck collided in the intersection. The preliminary investigation shows that one of the rock dump trucks possibly ran a red light and hit the produce truck.

The driver of the produce truck died at the scene.

There was no immediate word on other injuries.

Howard said the intersection will be closed for several hours while detectives investigate.
