An accident Saturday morning on I-20 W. resulted in a truck catching fire moments after an AMR crew pulled a passenger to safety.

Our crew drove up on the scene around 11:30 a.m. Saturday to witness AMR personnel pull a man from a white pickup truck right before the vehicle went up in flames.

Fortunately, the man walked away from the accident with help from emergency crews.

Firefighters rushed to the scene within minutes and quickly got to work as flames engulfed the truck.

This appeared to be a two vehicle accident, between the pickup truck and a Honda Civic.

Another passenger was spotted in a neck brace on the scene.

One lane of I-20 westbound was blocked as crews cleared the accident scene.

The accident occurred on I-20 W., just before the Raymond Road Exit.
