Las Vegas, NV : 36-year-old driver died in a rollover crash in Lincoln County on Saturday, June 20, 2015
A 36-year-old driver who wasn't wearing his seatbelt died Saturday in a single-car rollover crash in rural Lincoln County.
Nevada Highway Patrol said Monday that Joseph Bowlen of North Las Vegas was thrown from his 2000 Dodge Intrepid and pronounced dead on the scene.
The agency says Bowlen was speeding south on state route 318 about 20 miles from Hiko when the car veered off the right side of the road into the dirt shoulder. Nevada Highway Patrol says he overcorrected sending the car spinning back over the road where it ended up overturned on the other side.
A driver in a passing car discovered the crash just before 9 a.m. Saturday.
