Tuscaloosa, AL : Baton Rouge woman dies in Sumter County crash on Thursday, December 22nd 2016
A Baton Rouge, Louisiana, woman died Thursday in a two-vehicle crash in Sumter County, according to Alabama state troopers.
Angela Michelle Primeaux, 36, was seriously injured when the 2001 Jeep in which she was a passenger struck a 2013 Ford Escape. The Jeep left the road and struck a tree. The accident occurred at 10:52 p.m. Thursday on Interstate 59, near the 26 mile marker, eight miles northeast of Livingston.
Primeaux and the Jeep's driver, Ronnie Dean Spence Jr., 33, of Orchard Hill, Georgia, were taken to DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa, where Primeaux died a short time later. The driver of the Ford was not injured.
Troopers are continuing to investigate the crash.
