CLINTON TWP, NJ : 4 injured in 5-vehicle I-78 crash that stalled traffic for hours on Thursday, 9th May 2024

New Jersey State Police say four people were injured in the crash stalled that Interstate 78 West for hours on Thursday afternoon.

According to police, the crash occurred around 3:42 p.m. at Mile Marker 17.4 of I-78 West. That's in Clinton Township, Hunterdon County.

Police said an investigation revealed the crash occurred between a tractor-trailer and four passenger vehicle, causing the tractor-trailer to overturn across the highway.

The four people injured were all hospitalized with minor injuries. One of the victims was airlifted from the scene, police said.
