COLLINSVILLE, IL : Two Collinsville residents killed in accident on Friday, 22nd January 2021

Two people from Collinsville were killed in a St. Louis County accident on Interstate 270 late Friday.

According to Missouri State Highway Patrol records, Natalia Trigg, 33, and Henry Gaston, 39, were pronounced dead at the scene at about 11:25 p.m. Friday.

Trigg lost control of the 2011 Chrysler minivan she was driving after being struck by a Kia Optima driven by Justin T. Eberle, 27, of St. Louis, in the southbound lane of I-270 near Manchester Road, according to the highway patrol. The minivan left the roadway and struck a tree, killing both Trigg and Gaston.

No other information has been released about the accident.
