Pascagoula, MS : A Pascagoula man was killed when he hit a car at Franklin Creek Rd near Interstate 10 On Wednesday, May 25th, 2016

A Pascagoula man riding a motorcycle was killed early Wednesday morning when he hit a car on Franklin Creek Rd. near Interstate 10.

John Ledbetter, Chief Deputy with the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department, said the crash that killed 42-year-old Howard Martin happened around 4 a.m.

Ledbetter said Martin was riding southbound on Franklin Creek Rd. when he hit a Pontiac sedan driven by Dionel Davis, 40, of Mobile, AL. Martin died from injuries sustained during the wreck.

Ledbetter said the crash is being investigated by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department’s Traffic Division.
