Mesa, AZ : DPS officer, truck driver injured in rollover crash on US 60 west of Val Vista Drive in Mesa late Monday morning on May 5th 2014

A DPS officer was injured Monday morning after being involved in a crash on eastbound US 60.

DPS spokesman Carrick Cook said, an officer was finishing up a traffic stop with his emergency lights on near the US 60 and Val Vista, when a pickup truck hit the patrol car and rolled over.
The driver of the pickup and the DPS officer both sustained non-life threatening injuries.
