Phoenix, AZ : Man and woman injured after truck loses control, crashes into wall in Phoenix The collision near 24th Street and Southern Avenue on Thursday, 21st November, 2019

Two people were injured when a truck hit a wall Wednesday night near 24th Street and Southern Avenue, according to Phoenix police.

At around 10:30 p.m., a truck crashed into a retaining wall after losing control and going off the road, according to Sgt. Mercedes Fortune, a Phoenix police spokeswoman.

The 24-year-old male driver was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. A 37-year-old female passenger was also taken with life-threatening injuries.

Impairment is believed to be a factor, Fortune said.
