Frazee, MN : One person dies in crash near Frazee on Sunday, 16th September 2018

One person was killed in a crash just outside of Frazee Sunday. According to the Becker County Sheriff’s Office, the one-vehicle crash happened at 7:36 a.m. one mile north of Frazee on County Hwy. 29. The southbound vehicle collided with a tree and caught on fire after leaving the road. The report states that there were two occupants in the vehicle. Both were airlifted to Sanford Hospital in Fargo, where the driver was pronounced deceased. The names of the victims are being withheld pending family notification.

The Becker County Sheriff's Office was assisted by the Frazee Fire Department, Frazee Rescue, Detroit Lakes Fire Department, MN State Patrol, St. Mary's EMS, LifeLink III, and Sanford Airmed.

The crash remains under investigation.
