Ada, OK : 82-year-old man killed when struck by semi on State Highway 3W in southern Oklahoma Monday, November 28, 2016

An 82-year-old Ada man was killed when he was struck by a semi on State Highway 3W near Ada.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Dewain Shaw died in the accident just before 6:30 a.m. Monday.

An OHP report says Shaw was walking south in the northbound lane of traffic when he was hit by the northbound semi.

The driver of the semi was not injured.
