WALPOLE, MA : Fatal motorcycle crash in Walpole at 500 block of High Street on Friday, 13th July 2018

A single-vehicle motorcycle crash killed an area man Friday night, according to town emergency personnel.

Police Chief John Carmichael said, in a social media post, that the incident occurred around the 500 block of High Street at around 11 p.m.

According to Walpole Fire Capt. Paul Carter, the operator was taken to Norwood Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The man, Carmichael said, is not being identified at this time.
