NORWALK, CT : Fiery crash involving full fuel tanker closes I-95 in Norwalk on Thursday, 2nd May 2024

A petroleum tanker fire shut down both sides of I-95 in Norwalk on Thursday morning.

Flames and smoke were seen near exits 14 and 15 following the crash around 5:30 a.m.

State leaders provided an update on the closure at the Connecticut Emergency Operations Center in Hartford around 5 p.m.
