HADAR, NE : Nebraska patrol IDs woman, child fatally injured in crash on Friday, 13th July 2018

Authorities say a northeast Nebraska collision claimed the lives of a woman and one of the three children in her vehicle.The collision occurred Thursday afternoon near Hadar. The Nebraska State Patrol says the woman's northbound sport utility vehicle collided with a southbound semitrailer on U.S. Highway 81 when she attempted to turn left onto Nebraska Highway 13.The patrol identified the driver Friday as 36-year-old Rebecca Fischer, of Plainview. The patrol says her 4-year-old child, Lium, died later at Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk. The patrol also says 2-year-old Lara and 5-year-old Scarlett Fischer are expected to survive their injuries.
