Hibbing, MN : One person injured after a one-vehicle crash on Highway 53 north of Swan Lake Road on Friday, December 30, 2016

The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating a one-vehicle crash that occurred at 5:26 p.m. Friday.

A 2001 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Hannah Clement, 21, of Hibbing, was hauling a trailer northbound on Highway 53 north of Swan Lake Road when the vehicle ran off the right side of the road and overturned, according to a report. The trailer remained upright.

Road conditions were icy at the time of the crash. Clement was wearing a seatbelt and no alcohol was detected, according to the report. Clement was transported to St. Mary’s in Duluth with non-life threatening injuries.

The vehicle was a total loss and towed.
