Fort Worth, TX : Wrong-way driver killed in Fort worth car crash around 3:15 a.m.on June 4th 2014.

A deadly wrong-way crash has shut down the westbound lanes of Loop 820 at Marine Creek Parkway in Fort Worth.

Police say Jesse Eithun was driving an SUV eastbound on the highway in the westbound lanes for up to eight miles before hitting a truck and another car around 3:15 a.m.

Eithun was killed, police said. The driver of the truck was pinned inside the vehicle had to be extricated and was taken by Careflight to the hospital in critical condition.

A mother and daughter were in the other car that was hit. Both were injured.
