Savannah, GA : One killed in wreck in Bryan County on April, Saturday 22nd 2017
A three-vehicle accident in north Bryan County took the life of one person and sent three more to the hospital Saturday afternoon.
The accident occurred around 3 p.m., according to Bryan County Sheriff Clyde Smith.Two of the injured were transported via LifeStar to Memorial University Medical Center; one was transported via ambulance, Bryan County Emergency Services Lt. Tim Stillwell said.
“We responded to a three-vehicle accident on Hwy. 204 near mile marker 5. We had to extricate two people. We had one fatality at the scene. Two patients were flown out, one was taken by ambulance. A third person involved refused treatment and transport,” said Stillwell. “The fatality had to be extricated also.”
The accident, which involved a Dodge Durango, a Honda Accord and a Chevrolet pickup truck, is being investigated by the Georgia State Patrol. The names of those involved have not been released, Stillwell said.
