Las Vegas, NV : Three people injured after a two-vehicle collision on Tropicana Avenue on Saturday morning, February 28, 2015

Three people were taken to the hospital Saturday morning after a two-vehicle collision on Tropicana Avenue at Interstate 15.

The collision, which involved a minivan and a four-door Volkswagen, occurred about 10:50 a.m. on eastbound Tropicana Avenue at the I-15 southbound onramp, said Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper Loy Hixson.

The right lane of eastbound Tropicana Avenue was blocked as crews worked to clear the scene, Hixson said.

The occupants of the vehicles were taken to Spring Valley Hospital, Hixson said.

The cause of the collision was under investigation.
