Tempe, AZ : Four people injured during chain reaction crash near loop 101 and university on Tuesday 8th 2014

Four people, including a baby, where injured during a chain reaction crash near Loop 101 and University.

It happened just before midnight while it was raining.

We're told there were four separate crashes and a total of nine cars involved.

DPS says three of them were fender benders, but in the fourth crash, four people had to be rescued, including an infant.

Three of them had minor injuries, but officers say the child was taken to the hospital with internal injuries.

The southbound lanes of the Loop 101 were shutdown most of the night while DPS investigated.
