Raleigh, NC : One person was killed and other was injured in Single vehicle crash on Tuesday October 28th 2014.

Raleigh Police are investigating a single-vehicle fatal crash that occurred early Tuesday morning on Centennial Parkway near the North Carolina State Farmers Market. Police said the crash happened around 1:23 a.m. Tuesday on Centennial Parkway. Police said a 2006 Volvo S60 was traveling east on Centennial Parkway when the driver, Robert McKenzie Carter, 24, sideswiped the raised curb on the right and hit a tree. Carter was pronounced dead at the scene. The passenger in the car, Elkin Raul Lopez, 33, was taken to Wake Med with non-life threatening injuries.
