LAMAR COUNTY, MS : Lamar County responds to head-on collision on Saturday, 13th August, 2016

Lamar County officials responded to a near head-on collision Saturday afternoon.

According to authorities at the scene, a Jeep Wrangler pulling a trailer started to veer into the other lane on Sullivan Kilrain Road. An oncoming Dodge Ram pickup tried to avoid the Jeep, but they still crashed into each other at around 2: 30 p.m.A third vehicle, a Safelight van, crashed into the trailer being pulled by the Jeep. One person was transported to a local hospital.
