WARREN COUNTY, MS : Pedestrian killed by hit and run driver on Thursday, January 19th 2017

The Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a call Thursday night in Warren County and found an unidentified man dead in the street. The man was found lying in the southbound lane of U.S. Highway 61 at Jeff Davis Road.

An investigation determined the man was hit by a vehicle that left the scene but troopers have no leads or information on the make, year, and model of the vehicle and also no witnesses.

The accident is under investigation.
