Cleelum, WA :Five injured in Interstate 90 rollover on Sunday, July 12th 2015
Five people were injured Sunday in a rollover car accident on Interstate 90, the Washington State Patrol reported.Alejandra Rodriguez, 34, of Yakima was driving west on I-90 within Cle Elum city limits shortly before 9 a.m. when she left the roadway to the right. Her 1999 Chevy Suburban rolled once and came to rest on its wheels.Rodriguez and three of her passengers — Emilio Hernandez, 39, of Yakima; Able Padilla, 15, of Mexico; and Emilio Sandoval, 59, of Mexico — were taken to KVH Hospital in Ellensburg for their injuries. Sandoval was transferred to Harborview Medical Center, while the other three were treated and released, hospital staff said.
A fourth passenger, a 10-year-old boy, was taken to Harborview directly from the scene. Conditions on the two at Harborview were not immediately available.The Suburban was totaled.The State Patrol cited wheels off the roadway as the cause of the accident.
