McDonald County, MO : Driver killed in crash on Route E, 5 miles south of Powell in McDonald County on Sunday, 23rd September 2018

A 26-year-old man from California, Missouri, was killed in an early morning crash Monday on Route E, 5 miles south of Powell in McDonald County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Billy Penn was pronounced dead at the scene. Carrie Searcy, 57, of Pineville, driver of the other vehicle, went by private vehicle to Mercy Hospital in Rogers, Arkansas, with minor injuries.

The patrol said the Penn vehicle crossed the centerline and hit the Searcy vehicle head-on.
