Jerome, ID :Accident closes section of I-84 near Jerome on Thursday, July 2nd 2015

Two accidents along I-84 near Jerome slowed traffic in the Westbound lanes of travel this Thursday afternoon. The first accident was reported at around 2:50 p.m. when a pickup with a camper attached, rolled near milepost 165. A pickup following behind, struck the vehicle. Jerome Undersheriff Jack Johnson said that there were minor injuries. “They were not life threatening. The patient was transported to the hospital with ground ambulance,” Johnson said.The crash closed the westbound off ramp, but traffic continues to flow.A second accident happened a few moments later near milepost 166 when a vehicle rear-ended another vehicle.
