Braintree, VT : One person injured in a single-vehicle crash on Route 12A early Saturday, Nov 21, 2015

A passenger was airlifted from a crash scene with serious injuries early Saturday.
Vermont State Police did not identify the injured passenger taken by medical helicopter to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H.
They said the driver in the single-vehicle crash was Spencer Brown, 20, of Braintree.
Police said Brown was driving south on Route 12A at about 12:40 a.m. when he went off the road and struck several trees before returning to the road.
“Alcohol and speed are considered factors,” the police report said.
Brown’s car, a 1999 Audi, was destroyed. The accident remains under investigation.
