Man killed in 2-car accident near Chelan Washington

Weather and speed were factors in a fatal two-car accident on State Route 97 near Wells Dam on Saturday afternoon.A 59-year-old Bridgeport man was killed when his blue Dodge Neon sped across the center line on State Route 97 at Milepost 246, and hit the passenger's side of a southbound pickup.

The driver of the Nissan pickup, a 60-year-old Manson woman, was not seriously injured.
