SHELBINA, MO : Clarence woman dies in single-vehicle crash east of Shelbina on Monday, December, 4th 2017
A one-car crash Tuesday claimed the life of an 18-year-old Clarence woman.
A Missouri State Highway Patrol report said McKenzie R. Craigg was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash a mile east of Shelbina on U.S. 36.
Craigg was a passenger in a 2003 Honda Accord driven by Keith M. Bond, 23, of Palmyra. Donovan R. Barnes, 19, of Palmyra, also was a passenger in the vehicle.
The Highway Patrol report said the car traveled off the right side of the road and overturned. Craigg, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the vehicle, the report said, and Shelby County Coroner Corey Eagan pronounced Craigg dead at the scene at 3:42 p.m.
Assisting were the Shelby County Sheriff's Department, the Shelbina Police Department, Shelbina Fire and Rescue, and the Salt River Ambulance.
