Watertown, SD : Two people in an SUV were injured in Codington County on May, Friday, 19th 2017
Two people in an SUV were injured Friday afternoon when their vehicle struck a large gravel truck at an intersection in Codington County.
Watertown Fire Rescue sent two ambulances and a rescue truck to the junction of 456th Avenue and 162nd Street. The accident's location was about two miles north and three miles west of Waverly.
WFR reports the the truck was pulling two trailers when the accident occurred. The T-bone accident caused heavy front end damage to the SUV. The truck driver was uninjured.
Both of the injured were taken to Prairie Lakes Healthcare System in Watertown.
WFR crews were assisted by Codington County Sheriff's deputies, the South Dakota Highway Patrol and a local wrecker company.
