UNION COUNTY, NC : 2 injured after serious crash involving tractor-trailer in Union County at the intersection of Highway 601 and Highway 218 on Friday, 1st March 2019

The Highway Patrol was investigating a crash early Friday in Union County that involved at least three vehicles, including a tractor-trailer.

The wreck happened just before 6:30 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 601 and Highway 218, troopers said.

Officials said two people were taken to Atrium Health in Charlotte with injuries.
