Bullhead City, AZ : Fatal accident in Kingman on Monday, 26th March 2018

Roger Darrel Bassemier, 61, of Kingman, was killed on Monday in a rollover accident on Stockton Hill Road in Kingman. According to the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office, Bassemier was northbound at a high rate of speed on Stockton Hill Road near Jane Avenue when he lost control of his pickup truck on a curve. The vehicle left the roadway and Bassemier reportedly over-corrected in an attempt to return to the roadway, causing the pickup to roll over before hitting the side of a nearby mountain. He was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected. He was taken to Kingman Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead by medical staff. Alcohol and speed were both contributing factors, according to the sheriff’s office report.
