Frankfort, KY : Person killed in crash on city's southwest side on Monday, March 6th 2017

A woman has been killed in a single car crash on the city's southwest side.

Indianapolis Metro Police say the crash happened on Kentucky Avenue south of Raymond Street. They say the passenger car was traveling northbound on Kentucky Avenue when it cross over the southbound lanes into a tree line on the west side of the road.

A passerby spotted the crash around 7:15 a.m. Monday morning and called dispatch. The woman driving the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.
