The Dorchester County Coroner’s Office has released the name of the woman who died in a two-vehicle crash in the Summerville area.
Joycelyn J. Parker, 70, of Summerville, was a passenger in a vehicle that collided head-on with another vehicle on Orangeburg Road, Coroner Paul Brouthers said.
The coroner said Parker was a rear-seat passenger, and she was pronounced dead at the scene at 7:30 p.m.
The crash took place around 6:34 p.m. on Orangeburg Road in Dorchester County, just over 4 miles west of Summerville, Cpl. Tyler Tidwell said.
