Hagerstown, MD : Driver in I-70 crash near Big Pool still critical on Wednesday September 14 2016

The driver of a tractor-trailer that rolled over during a crash Wednesday on Interstate 70 near Big Pool is still being treated at a Baltimore hospital.

Jason Gillard, 41, of Texas was listed in critical condition Monday at R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, a hospital spokeswoman said in an email.

Gillard was hauling factory equipment shortly after 9 a.m. when he lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a wood line along the westbound lanes of the interstate, Maryland State Police said.

The accident occurred near the 13-mile marker.

Gillard was freed from the tractor and flown to the trauma center by a state police helicopter.
