Harrison , TW :IDs released in double-fatal I-75 crash on Sunday , June 14th 2015

The North Carolina family who crashed in a van on northbound I-75 around 4 a.m early Sunday morning were heading to Chicago to attend family funeral,according to Sgt. Chris Colberty with the Ohil State Highway Patrol.Through OSHP’s investigation, it’s been determined that the woman identified as the grandmother, Khurshid Chaudhry, 65, was partially ejected from the crash, and was likely wearing a seat belt. She died along with her five year old grandchild, Azan Chaudhry, 5, whom they’ve determined was laying in the third back seat of the Honda Odyssey and was completely ejected from the vehicle when it went off the right side of the road and hit a tree.Colbert described the crash “peeled the right side of the vehicle off like a can opener.”
