STATEN ISLAND, NY : Two injuries reported after police car crash on Monday, August 21, 2017

Two injuries were reported Monday after a cop car crashed into a guardrail in Richmond Valley Monday afternoon, according to a spokesman for the FDNY.

The two injured people were transported to Staten Island University Hospital in Prince's Bay with minor injuries after the incident near the intersection of Amboy Road and Richmond Valley Road occurred at around 3:15 p.m., the spokesman said.

The Fire Department could not say if the two people injured in the incident were police officers, and a spokesman for the NYPD did not have information on the incident.
