Police in New Smyrna Beach say an 18-year-old hit-and-run driver, left the crash scene and caused a second crash in which he was seriously injured.
Police said Robert Kelley IV hit one car on Eddy Road, leaving two people injured, then raced away westbound, where he crashed into three more vehicles stopped at a red light.
Kelley's 1994 Honda sat crumpled at the intersection of State Road 44 and Colony Park Road just after 3:30 p.m. Monday.
