Bartlesville, OK : Chelsea man killed in a single-vehicle accident in Rogers County on Saturday, December 17, 2016

A Chelsea man is dead following a single-vehicle accident Saturday evening in Rogers County.

According to reports from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at around 3:47 p.m. on State Highway 66 and County East West 390 Road which is approximately 1 mile north of Foyil in Rogers County.

At that time, a 2001 Ford F150 driven by 63-year-old Carlos Earl Lewis of Chelsea, was northbound on State Highway 66, and departed the roadway to the right, rolling a quarter times before coming to rest on its side.

Emergency personnel attempted to transport Lewis via Pafford EMS to Hillcrest Hospital in Claremore, but he was pronounced dead while being transported due to head and trunk internal injuries.
