Wetumpka ,AL : Heather Taylor, 27 dies after single-vehicle crash on Saturday ,July 4th 2015

A Wetumpka woman has died after a single-vehicle crash, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

Heather Taylor, 27, was injured when the 2000 Mercury Mountaineer she was driving left the roadway and hit a tree Saturday. The crash happened around 5:40 p.m. on Alabama 170 one mile north of Wetumpka.

Taylor was pronounced dead Monday. The hospital notified ALEA Thursday.

According to ALEA, Taylor wasn't wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
