Longview,TX : Section of McCann Road reopened after overnight wreck on July, Friday 28th 2017

Traffic was being diverted off a main Longview thoroughfare this morning as power crews work in the area following an overnight wreck.

Longview police said just before 6:30 a.m. that McCann Road would be shut down between H.G. Mosley Parkway and Ruthlynn Drive for about three hours. Police later said the closure would last about another two hours.

The timing of reopening McCann Road was unknown as crews from AEP Southwestern Electric Power Co. get the power line back up.

Police posted on Twitter shortly after 8 a.m. that traffic was heavy on Judson Road between Magnolia Lane and H.G. Mosley Parkway as motorists continued to be diverted away from the section of McCann Road.
