A Troy resident was injured in a one-vehicle wreck Monday morning in Coffee County.

According to a news release from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, Latonya Coleman Speights, 47, sustained injuries when her 2014 Malibu left the road at about 7:23 a.m. near the 32.5 mile marker on Highway 167 and hit some trees.

Speights was transported to a health-care facility in Pensacola, Florida.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
