Taunton,MA : Taunton woman killed in crash of GATRA bus and SUV on September, Monday 11th 2017

A Taunton woman was killed Monday morning when the SUV she was driving collided with a GATRA bus in Myles Standish Industrial Park, according to the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office.

The victim has been identified as Renee Shea, 48, of Taunton.

At around 8 a.m. Monday, Sept. 11, the two-vehicle collision occurred near the corner of Myles Standish Boulevard and John Hancock Road just outside of the Myles Standish Industrial Complex.

Shea was driving a 2014 Jeep Cherokee. The GATRA bus was being driven by a 56-year-old Rhode Island woman.

The cause of the crash is under investigation by State Police and Taunton Police. No charges have been filed at this time.
