Clearwater man, 11-year-old boy, killed in SUV rollover accident

A Clearwater man and a boy were killed Thursday after an SUV overturned on I-4 in Polk County.

According to reports, Terry L. Colston, 55, was driving a 2006 Ford Expedition east on I-4 near State Road 559 when the right rear tire blew out.The SUV rotated counter-clockwise, then drove onto the shoulder of the road, where it overturned, troopers said.Colston was taken to Lakeland Regional Medical Center, where he died from his injuries.

Robert Colston, 11, was also taken to Lakeland Regional Medical Center with critical injuries. He died a short while later.Three other children were in the car at the time - Sarah Colston, 11; Jack Colston, 10; Maxwell Watson, 11. They all received minor injuries.Officials did not say whether the two victims were related.
