SPD investigating officer-involved crash in South Seattle
Seattle Police are investigating an officer-involved crash in South Seattle Thursday.
Just before 6:00 a.m., a SPD officer was driving a marked patrol car north on Swift Avenue South. A man driving south in a silver 4-door sedan crossed the center line, and hit the officer head on.
Medics took the officer to the hospital with minor injuries. The other driver was treated on the scene, and did not need further treatment.
Traffic Collision Investigation Squad detectives are investigating the collision.
