Wadena,MN : Six people in the hospital after crash in Wadena County on May, Sunday 13th 2018

Six people are in the hospital after a crash on Highway 10 in Verndale just before 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 13.

Minnesota State Patrol reports 77-year-old Charles Bimberg of Verndale was stopped facing north on Brown Street NW, then attempted to cross Highway 10. His vehicle was then hit by 30-year-old Dion Vantyler of Breckenridge, who was driving east on Highway 10.

Bimberg was taken to St. Cloud Hospital to be treated for life-threatening injuries. Vantyler was taken to Tri-County Hospital in Wadena to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Four other people, including two children under the age of five were also involved in the crash. All passengers were taken to Tri-County Hospital to be treated for non life threatening injuries.
